When a child goes missing, every second counts. The goal of Missing Child Kenya is to boost search efforts for missing children by sharing photo posters and alerts to as broad an audience and in the fastest of time as possible. Missing Child Kenya depends a lot on the social good of individuals across Kenya through community crowd sourcing. When you share a missing child alert, you are making your much valued individual contribution to reuniting a missing child with their family. With the help and participation of the public we continue to grow and make our community outreach efforts more sustainable.
High 5 is the first of the Safety Stories Series targeting children age 3-6 years that we published and released to market on 15 December 2019. The adventures of Kito & Lulu mirror children’s everyday experiences, through which we can teach them about safety. We would like to publish more children’s books to use storytelling and creativity to teach children about their own safety while creating local, relevant, contextualized content on child safety for children in Kenya, in English and Swahili languages that can be used across the East African Region. We are producing a cartoon animated series based on the book characters for online multimedia content. Our goal is to create financial sustainability for our impact work at Missing Child Kenya through this as one of our income generation projects.
